Pumps will be Shut Off Wednesday 10/11/2023

You've seen the pink signs. It is that time of year to shut the irrigation down. The pumps will turn off Wednesday and we will be winterizing the Main Lines soon. To keep the costs of winterizing down we will need you to shut your Main Valves Wednesday, Thursday or Friday 10/14 at the latest. If you are a renter, please contact your management company. Individual homeowners can schedule their winterization for their personal sprinkler systems after October 16. Thank you for another fantastic irrigation season!

It is also past time to park your recreational vehicles and trailers behind a six-foot privacy fence or to have it relocated to an off-site storage facility. The Governing Documents for the subdivision state trailers and recreational vehicles (campers, boats, etc.) must be behind a privacy fence at all times, but the Board agreed years ago to allow for relaxation of this rule for a period of time from Memorial Day to Labor Day, as long as members were kind enough to not take advantage of the agreement. Trailers are never allowed to be parked on City streets for more than a twelve-hour loading/unloading period, per Fruita City Ordinance. We will ask Fruita PD to tag any vehicles parked on the street for more than 12 hours.
