We are still waiting for the A/C Unit to come in. In the interim, we were able to by-pass that system temporarily to continue testing the system and came upon a problematic leak in a sensitive area. The pump vault has two lines leading to the main line. Each is dedicated to one of our two pumps. On the 90 degree angle of the steel (blue) pipe in the bottom of the hole and near the middle of the picture, there is a leak that we literally corked as we were working out the issue. We have all of the parts necessary to make the fix, but first we must drain the water from the vault after we drain the irrigation holding tank to just below the intake filters seen in the picture below because the water in the vault will spill out once we cut the pipe, and will continue to spill water from the irrigation holding tank unless the water level is below the intake filters. This is more difficult to repair than we had hoped, but we are sure it can be accomplished. It would be helpful if you could hold...

A/C Unit to be Replaced Before Pumps Can be Tested 04/13/2024

The A/C unit mounted to the Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) station needs to be replaced: the copper tubing has corroded and water is being sprayed all about the electronics, which isn't good for the electronics or safe for the people running the electronics. We are in the process of ordering a new unit, and once that is installed we can restart the process of getting the pumps up and assessing the damages from  fiber internet installation.

Gearing Up for Spring 2024

The ditch water has been turned down the lateral, thank you to those that participated in the clean day. We will begin the process to get the pumps up and running soon. The morning temperatures are still freezing, and we anticipate damage from the fiber going in last fall and over the winter, so bear with us as we make those repairs. To prepare for the irrigation season, please take this time to close your main valve. The Board will update the Announcement Blog when you can begin irrigating on your scheduled times and dates. The annual letter will go out soon. We unexpectedly had to change bookkeeping services at the end of the last fiscal year and are waiting on the Profit and Loss Report for 2023 to be finished so we do not have to spend additional funds on a second mailing. Happy Spring!
