End of Irrigation Season 2024 and Note on the Tree Removal
Hello neighbors! With the continued warm temperatures, we have decided to leave the water on for as long as possible. Shut-off day will be October 31 (the Grand Valley Irrigation Company typically allows water to flow from April 1 to October 31). Once water is shut off you can have blow-outs scheduled. Along that same vein, the trees along the Compton Drainage Ditch are currently being removed. Once water is off in the ditch the subcontractor can begin to clean the brush, grass and reeds in preparation for the second phase of the project. Once the final details of the second phase are worked out, we will update you here. Thank you for your patience on the ditch project. This has been a monumental project that has spanned more years than we would like to count and has involved NUMEROUS agencies and individuals.
