The Main Lines have been winterized, and this morning there is a light layer of snow on the ground. Please have your lines winterized, if you have not already done so.

Pumps are Off for 2022

The pumps have been retired for the season. Please shut your Main Valve or contact your property manager/ landlord to have this done. You can email your Board if you need clarification on where your Main Valve is located. Now would be an excellent time to schedule your sprinkler blow out or your swamp cooler winterization, if you have not done so already.  It is also past time to park your recreational vehicles and trailers behind a six-foot privacy fence or to have it relocated to an off-site storage facility. The Governing Documents for the subdivision state trailers and recreational vehicles (campers, boats, etc.) must be behind a privacy fence at all times, but the Board agreed years ago to allow for relaxation of this rule for a period of time from Memorial Day to Labor Day, as long as members were kind enough to not take advantage of the agreement. Sidewalk Replacement and Water

The City of Fruita is replacing damaged sidewalks in the subdivision. To do this, they asked that the pumps be turned off so that runoff does not collect in the gutters. We are hopeful by next Monday the pumps can be turned back in until the 15th of October, when they will be shut down for the season. As always, we will update you here. Update 10/10/2022: We have gotten the green light to turn the pumps back on. The pumps will be turned off this Saturday, October 15. You can set appointments to have your system winterized the last week of October and the first weel of November.

Irrigation End of the Year Preparations 2022

Happy October! The pumps are scheduled to be shut down on October 15, unless the weather turns cold and we have significant freezing prior to then. Now is the time to reach out and schedule your winterization/blow out for the last week of October or the first two weeks of November. Please close your Main Valves on or before October 15 and make sure your system is blown out with the valve closed, so water is not blown back into the Main system. For those of you with swamp coolers, you may want to schedule your winterization as well.
