New Float

Image
We had low water this morning, but it was a blessing in disguise as it alerted us to the fact that the float for the pumps was not functioning correctly. We shut the pumps down for a few hours while we located and installed a new float. This will potentially save us thousands of dollars to not have to replace a burnt out pump!

Pumps off for a bit

We had a break that cannot be isolated so the pumps will have to stay off for a little bit while our neighbor replaces their main valve. Sorry for any inconvenience! We will update here when the pumps are back up and running. Update 4/21/22 1800 hours: The break has been repaired and the pumps are coming back on-line at the regular time. Thank you for understanding!
Bear with us as we investigate a possible leak  on the east side of the subdivision. Pumps may be down for a little while but we will update you here.  Apologies that we didn't get this posted earlier: sometimes the emergency delays the blog update as it is more important to get the pumps off and the investigation started than to jump on the computer. :) Update 1800 hours: We were able to locate and isolate the leak. Yay! So the pumps are back up and running. If you have any issues that require immediate attention, please do not hesitate to contact us. The pumps are off everyday from 1200 to 1800 and all day every Wednesday so that major repairs can be made.

We were able to get the system pressurized and tested over the weekend. We have identified a couple of trouble areas, but most of these are isolatable areas. If you see zones that are stuck running for several hours please let the Board know. If you turn on your system and have any issues that require the pumps to be turned off, please contact the Board. If you have issues past your main valve, please contact an irrigation specialist (we can help with suggestions) after closing your main valve. The water levels coming in will fluctuate over the next couple weeks as other water share holder begin to tap into the lateral, this is normal: do not panic. The message line is 970-639-4061. We will be sending out Annual Meeting Minutes, the 2022 Budget, the Rules and Regulations and the Watering Schedule hopefully this week. Please make sure we have an accurate address for you. Thank you!

Unseasonable snow and freezing weather may delay the start-up for irrigation, but we sure needed the moisture. We will keep you posted!

The irrigation water was let down the lateral, but as you can see, it is quite muddy and filled with weed      seed, so we have elected to dump it down the drainage ditch, as have most of the others along the         l      lateral, so take care down the back path as we may see some minor flooding until folks stop dumping.

Update 4/9/22

The latest information we have received looks like the irrigation water may get turned on before next weekend, so depending on water quality and levels, we may be able to test the system over the weekend of the 16th. We will keep you posted!
We received word that the headgate located on K Road will not be opened until April 16, 2022. We anticipate having water and being able to pressurize and test the main lines and pumps the next weekend. Please keep your main lines closed until we announce that the system is up and running: anyone jumping the gun and watering before we are finished will prolong the length of the process. Thank you!
